“Damage To Another Seller” Incorrect / GTIN Codes Incorrect / Canadian Disbursement Abnormality

Hello all

1️⃣ “We took this measure due to damage or abuse to another Seller, their listings or ratings. This is a violation of Amazon’s Seller Policies and Seller Code of Conduct”. We think some of these are false positives and the wrong accounts suspended. More related account suspensions including some very large accounts. Some seem incorrect but by no means most.

2️⃣ “The bank details registered to your account are also used by another Selling on Amazon account. Please respond to this email to clarify the relationship between your businesses.” ; “Furthermore, please allow 72-96 hours for this to be fully updated across the system and reflected. on the Detail Page.”

4️⃣ Unfortunately a new low for competitor uploads adding racists words on listings to make them restricted: “Also, you need to remove any reference of the “N-word” on your detail page for ALL marketplaces.”

5️⃣ “Please note that as per Amazon policy products that make any antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-fouling, CONTAMINATION, DETERIORATION or other pesticidal claim (for example, products marketed to disinfect, repel insects, remove allergens mold, mildew, or prevent / kill bacteria), may be considered pesticide.” “For use on a molded fiberglass swimming pool” will get cited which is obviously incorrect.

6️⃣ Many received this. “This ASIN has GTIN codes that do not match the brand associated to the ASIN. GTIN codes are reliable data that are used to limit duplicate products in the catalog and ensure product authenticity. We verify the authenticity of GTINs by checking the GS1 database and GTINs that do not match information in GS1 are considered invalid. We recommend obtaining your GTINs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling GTIN licenses) to ensure the appropriate information is reflected in the GS1 database.”

7️⃣ “You must write the brand name, spelled and capitalized exactly as you see it above, when you list products for this brand. If the brand name is spelled or capitalized differently on any of your existing listings, update those listings now to ensure that the products are included in the Amazon Brand Registry. “

8️⃣ Some Canadian Sellers received a disbursement from Amazon.ca one week ahead of schedule. Others received a random amount w/ out email notification.

9️⃣ “Detail Pages Needing Correction. ASIN XXXXXXXXXX Attribute Needing Correction: Mis category”; New!!! “Suspected Product Authenticity Issue” on dashboard (even on items never shipped yet).
