Hello All
1. There are many complaints of items incorrectly marked as Toys requiring toy safety docs; Seller challenge is surprisingly useful, use it wisely. My actual presentation at the ASGTG event 8 years ago.
2. ASGTG’s March 5 event is shaping up strong — major marketplaces attending, a standout mix of new and very innovative exhibitors for Amazon and third-party sellers, plus a great speaker lineup. TikTok Shop will have a huge presence. Link to join.
3. Sellers crushed by rising ad costs don’t really have a PPC problem — they have a TACoS problem. The ZonHack TACoS Crusher is a short, performance-based program focused on improving total ad efficiency, not just ACoS. We commit to cutting TACoS by at least 20% in 60 days while maintaining or growing revenue — or you pay no management fee. Built for established brands already spending on ads. ASGTG readers can request a free TACoS audit to see if they qualify. (Sponsored)
4. Important change for MF returns and SAFE-T claim implications “If you don’t process a refund within four calendar days of receiving a returned item, we may issue an automatic refund. In these cases, you won’t be eligible for Seller Assurance for e-Commerce Transactions (SAFE-T) claim reimbursement except for specific situations such as when returned items are lost in transit or delivery confirmation was incorrect through no fault of your own. In these cases, since you did not receive the item for assessment, you can still file a SAFE-T claim for reimbursement.” Link.
5. If you use FedEx with Amazon shipping, there are significant reversals when they claim the dimensions are incorrect. Some seem inaccurate or overly aggressive. Link to report.
6. “We have detected a discrepancy between your stated US-based shipping address and actual international shipping location. This affects your ability to sell on http://Amazon.com. Take the following actions within 7 days to prevent account deactivation.” Link. This has to be an error.
7. Unsettling thread shows Amazon continues to get it wrong. Link.
8. Name-brand inventory to move? I may have a marketplace for it. Please reach out. I can also help with exits, partnerships, or financing.
9. A major suits shakeup right before the ASGTG event in March.
10. Concerning “Anyone else seeing coordinated “Frequently Returned” badge attacks? Seems to be the latest seller tactic. Any ASIN under $56 that cracks the Top 100 on certain nodes gets hit with returns until the badge sticks, then the returns magically stop.”
Wishing You A Great Weekend, ED Rosenberg Voice of the Seller
