Suits Less Cynical / Amazon Twitter On OA & RA / Improved ASIN Reinstatement Process

1️⃣ The suits were less cynical this week, reinstating some misguided section 3 Beauty suspensions and resolved a few other complex suspensions and issues; No meaningful update on the unsuitable goods debacle. ASGTG encourages Amazon to engage in dialogue, “have a conversation with us,” and take courageous action for a fruitful settlement with this batch of suspensions (especially the bogus ones). My thoughts on this issue.

4️⃣ There were significant issues this week with sellers being told to schedule a time slot for video verification, and no link to schedule ever arrived. There is no way to avoid a video verification once Amazon requests an interview.

7️⃣ Amazon Seller’s Twitter handle was overly chatty this week, with one endorsing OA and RA.

8️⃣ “At that time, you were advised that you had two choices to resolve this claim. Because you chose not to opt in to the neutral patent evaluation process by the three-week deadline, your listing was removed. Since the deadline has passed, we are unable to accept further submissions.”

9️⃣ “This product has been identified as body armor, a body armor plate, body armor designed for accommodating body armor plates, or a similar bulletproof product which is prohibited to be sold on Amazon.”
