Off Amazon Rebates / AH: “Figure it out… You’re connected!”” / Verbal POA & Quizzes

1️⃣ Hours after ASGTG complimented SP (last weeks summary), Amazon cut off API access to service providers involved in facilitating off Amazon rebates. “This is an important notice regarding a third-party application from the developer RebateKey, with the associated Developer IDs XXXX. Our records indicate you have authorized an application from this developer to support your Amazon selling business. This notice is to inform you that the RebateKey application will be removed from the Amazon Seller Central Partner Network “.

2️⃣ They also send this warning to sellers but there was no flag on AH
“• Manipulating sales rank (such as by accepting fake orders or orders that you have paid for) or making claims about sales rank in product titles or descriptions
• Artificially inflating web traffic (such as using bots or paying for clicks)”

4️⃣ “We received a complaint about your listing that you have been fluctuating shipping charges on the product detail pages. If we receive more complaints about your listings, we may remove your listing and may not allow you to sell to Amazon. Fluctuating shipping charges include, but are not limited to: — Changing the shipping charges on a template repeatedly”

5️⃣ By related account suspension, if the first and last initials are not enough to determine the root suspended account, you can nudge AH for more information including why they are linked (ie Credit card, address, etc) and when the root related account was created. One aggressive AH rep told a seller “Figure it out… You’re connected!”

6️⃣ New on dashboard reason of why an item is restricted “This product has been identified as a dietary supplement or drug that is listed outside of the Health and Personal Care category. It is against Amazon policy to list such products outside of the Health & Personal Care category. In order to properly list these products, you need prior approval.”

8️⃣ There has been a uptick of RO complaints from what seems like fake abusive “enforcers” using emails such as @163.com and @ qq.com and not responding to any communication from the seller.

9️⃣ Amazon confirmed at the virtual conference that AH is working on allowing verbal POAs (already seen), quizzes instead of POAs (already seen), Self-Reinstate in much more scenarios, and proactive calling from AH when top ASINS delisted.
Furthermore, in the next few months, AH would notify you of the most pressing issues on the dashboard, so you know what to address first.

🔟 Most of the topical Delisting accounts were reinstated but SP was still being stubborn on some.
